Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Bucks County (PA) seeks a Licensed Addiction Therapist to join its community-based outpatient program. You will assess, design, and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct individual and group sessions, and coordinate care with the treatment team and families.

Required: Bachelor's in psychology/counseling or related field; state licensure; strong communication, ethics, and confidentiality. Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client.
• Conduct individual, group, family and couple therapy sessions.

• Prevent, intervene and de-escalate in event of a crisis.
• Maintain documentation of client challenges, progress, relapse risk, and intervention.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director, treatment team and family for coordination of care.
• Model ethics, dignity and recovery principles in every interaction.

What You'll Do

• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client
• Conduct individual, group, family and couple therapy sessions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
• Valid state licensure necessary to practice in this role preferred
• Excellent observational, collaborative and interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles
• Ability to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentiality

This facility partners exclusively with Crosswalk Sober Living - a collection of luxurious sober living homes - to give clients the opportunity to engage in treatment while residing in a beautiful domestic setting with 24/7 supervision and care.
