Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking an Addiction Therapist at our Bucks site. You will develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and deliver individual, group, family and couple therapy.

You will handle all clinical needs for your client caseload, intervene in crises, and maintain detailed documentation while collaborating with the Clinical Director and family for seamless care. Join our community-based outpatient program housed in Bucks with access to Crosswalk Sober Living

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; state licensure preferred to practice in this role.
• Strong observational, collaborative and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client.
• Conduct individual, group, family and couple therapy sessions.
• Responsible for clinical needs, services and aftercare for client caseload.
• Prevent, intervene and de-escalate in crisis situations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client progress, challenges and relapse risk.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director and treatment team for coordinated care.

What You'll Do

• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client
• Conduct individual, group, family and couple therapy sessions
• Take responsibility for all clinical needs, services, and aftercare for your client caseload
• Prevent, intervene and de-escalate in event of a crisis
• Maintain impeccable documentation of client challenges, progress, relapse risk, and intervention
• Collaborate with Clinical Director, treatment team and family for seamless coordination of care
• Model ethics, morality and recovery principles in every professional interaction - honesty, accountability, dignity and respect

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
• Valid state licensure necessary to practice in this role preferred
• Excellent observational, collaborative and interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles
• Ability to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentiality

Avenues Recovery Center at Bucks is a community-based, residential-style outpatient drug and alcohol rehab program offering partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment services. This facility partners exclusively with Crosswalk Sober Living - a collection of luxurious sober living homes - to give clients the opportunity to engage in treatment while residing in a beautiful domestic setting with 24/7 supervision and care.
