Job summary

Good Samaritan Health Care Center is seeking an LPN for evening shifts in Yakima, Washington. The role includes medication assistance, nursing services, training staff, and promoting resident well-being.

You will train staff, supervise care, and ensure plans are followed, with a home-like environment for residents. New grads are encouraged to apply, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, medication administration and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans.
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations.

As an LPN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

You Will
