Trident Pain Center in Charleston, SC is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN provides nursing care under supervision of RNs and physicians, focusing on patient-centered care and strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities include pre-exam workups, obtaining vital signs, starting IVs, assisting during procedures, and ensuring compliance with DHEC and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in outpatient procedure setting preferred.
• CPR Certification; BLS preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Call back and work up patients prior to provider exam.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs.
• Collect urinalysis and draw blood.
• Prepare sterile procedures and start IVs as needed.
• Return patient calls and assist with questions.
• Assist providers during procedures, including fluoroscopy.
• Discharge patients after procedures and scribe for physician.

The LPN will provide essential nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Call back and work up patients prior to provider exam
• Obtain and record patient vital signs
• Collect urinalysis
• Start IV's as needed
• Return patient phone calls and answer or assist with any questions and issues they may have
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Administer sedation & monitor patient as required
• Discharge of patients after procedures
• Scribe for physician as needed
• Maintain compliance with all DHEC and OSHA guidelines
• Travel between satellite offices may be required

Pay:

• $25 - $28 per hour, depending on experience

Requirements:
