Job summary

Savannah College of Art and Design is seeking a Library Systems Manager to oversee online software, resources, and services for SCAD Libraries. You will maintain Sierra ILS, Tipasa, LibGuides, Summon, the proxy server, and the library website, ensuring seamless access for students and staff.

You will collaborate with IT and vendors, coordinate license renewals, train staff, and collect annual statistics. The role includes data loads, updates, and preserving uninterrupted electronic access across

Qualifications

Master's degree in library and information science or related field.
At least three years of experience in library systems, IT, or information systems.
Experience administering an Integrated Library System (ILS) or similar systems.
Knowledge of authentication systems, proxies, discovery tools, and electronic resource access management.

Responsibilities

Oversee Sierra ILS, Tipasa, LibGuides, Summon, proxy server, and library website.
Collaborate with IT and vendors to resolve access issues and ensure IP-based access.
Train staff on Sierra ILS and related systems.
Coordinate annual license renewals and electronic resource usage statistics.
Submit payments and track expenditures for online resources.
Maintain and update library holdings in Summon and related platforms.
