Livingston Parish Library is seeking a part-time library support staff member for the South Branch. The role involves helping patrons with a friendly, helpful attitude, handling desk duties, processing materials, and supporting programs.

The position requires basic math and computer use, and it includes working night and weekend hours on a rotating schedule with lifting and standing for long periods.

Qualificações

• Education: a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work night and weekend hours on a rotating schedule
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift at least 25 pounds

Responsabilidades

• Serve patrons with a strong customer service attitude at the library service desk, both in person and over the phone
• Processing library materials for distribution
• Assist co-workers and supervisors with special projects or programs, as assigned
• Assist patrons in using library services
• Maintain materials of the branch library
• Assist with library programming
• Perform other duties as assigned by the branch manager.
