NC State University Libraries seeks an University Library Specialist in Raleigh, NC to support undergraduate learning through instruction, public service at the Ask Us desk, and outreach activities. This role partners with the Undergraduate Teaching, Learning, and Outreach team to enhance information literacy and spaces for student success.

The position involves coordinating over 200 instruction sessions per year, managing spaces, and collaborating on instructional content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with library/archives experience.
• Experience in instructional content creation and scheduling large numbers of sessions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for teaching and outreach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person library instruction and support undergraduate teaching.
• Lead Ask Us public service operations and supervise student staff.
• Engage in outreach to promote library resources and belonging.
