Job summary

Harris County Public Library (HCPL) is seeking a Library Specialist I to join the West University Branch in Houston. You will provide frontline customer service, assist with circulation, registrations, and readers' advisory, and help support daily library operations in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

You will plan and promote programs for all ages, assist with outreach, and help maintain accurate records while protecting patron confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in public libraries or public-service environments.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to assist with programs and outreach.
• Proficiency with MS Office and internet resources.

Responsibilities
