Job summary

Anderson University’s Nicholson Library seeks a Patron Service Coordinator to lead front-line hospitality and access services, supervising student staff, managing circulation, and coordinating ILL and large-format printing.

You will recruit and train student workers, oversee reserves, stacks, outreach, and displays, while helping with billing for materials and reporting data to support library goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in professional/office setting.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervision experience.
• Experience in library, customer service, or staff management preferred (1–2 years).
• Knowledge of web programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise student workers.
• Oversee library circulation, reserves, stacks, and patron support.
• Manage ILL and consortial resource-sharing operations.
• Maintain large-format printing equipment and supplies.
• Lead outreach and promote library events and displays.
• Assist with billing for lost/damaged materials and print service charges.
• Compile and report operational statistics to support goals.
