Job summary

Motlow State Community College is seeking a Library Associate 2 to provide frontline library services, assist with circulation and reference help for students, faculty, and community patrons, and support Testing Centers across Motlow campuses. The role involves XR equipment experience and strong customer service.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of customer service experience; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year of customer service experience.
• Associate’s Degree earned from a regionally accredited institution and at least two years customer service experience
• Experience using Google and Microsoft Suites and library databases

Responsibilities

• LIBRARY USER SERVICES: Assists and teaches students, faculty, and community users how to access and acquire physical and digital information.
• LIBRARY SUPPORT SERVICES: Record daily library statistics and gate counts; assist with ID creation and equipment maintenance.
• TESTING CENTER SERVICES: Schedule and proctor exams; maintain testing equipment; assist with accommodations; generate reports.
