Job summary

Motlow State Community College in McMinnville is seeking a Library Associate 2 to provide customer, circulation, and reference services while assisting with computer help and one-on-one instruction to library patrons. The role may include support for Testing Centers across Motlow campuses.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent with customer service experience; preferred candidates have an Associate’s Degree and two years of experience, including familiarity with XR

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of customer service experience.
• Preferred qualifications include an Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution and at least two years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist and teach library users in accessing information and using catalog, databases, and equipment.
• Support circulation and library statistics, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Schedule and proctor exams; monitor testing environments; maintain testing equipment and assist accommodations.
• Use Google and Microsoft Suite along with the library ILS and databases to facilitate access to resources.
• Assist with Testing Centers across Motlow campuses and participate in designated committees.
