Job summary

Consilio Services seeks a Manager of Research Resources to oversee 200+ global online tools, lead vendor relations, and manage digital library systems from our hybrid DC office.

The role blends IT, business, and library expertise, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, analytics, and staff supervision to support attorneys and practice groups.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of law firm experience in resource management or related role.
• Ability to oversee systems or mentor junior staff, even without a formal manager title.
• Strong background in vendor relations and electronic resource management.
• Blend of IT, business, and library expertise.
• Excellent organizational and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, renewals, and evaluations.
• Pitch and implement new resources and functionalities relied on heavily by attorneys.
• Oversee all electronic library systems, including classification, tracking, and reporting.
• Align resources with practice group and firm-wide priorities through usage analytics and business needs assessments.
• Manage departmental budgeting and expenditure tracking.
• Supervise and mentor two team members, supporting professional growth and development.
