Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an entry-level Library Associate 2 to support circulation and patron services at our Desert Hot Springs location. You will help register patrons, check out materials, answer questions, and assist with programs while maintaining accuracy and customer focus.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic knowledge of library systems, and the ability to work a schedule that includes days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years library experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of library systems and databases preferred.
• Ability to work a regular schedule including days, evenings and weekends.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and registers patrons; issues library cards and checks out materials.
• Assists patrons with locating materials and using the reference desk.
• Explains procedures (checking out, logging onto Internet, making copies).
• Checks in and processes library materials; handles fines and payments.
