Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Parking Ambassador Attendant to welcome library visitors, guide parking operations, and maintain a safe, organized environment. You will help manage traffic flow, answer questions, and ensure a positive experience for all guests.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and good communication skills. Prior customer service or security experience is preferred; ability to work independently and as part of a team is valued.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist library patrons entering and exiting parking areas.
• Monitor parking lots and garages to ensure compliance with parking rules and regulations.
• Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic during busy periods, special events, and peak library hours.
• Provide information regarding library entrances, parking locations, accessibility accommodations, and facility services.
• Report safety concerns, parking violations, suspicious activity, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist patrons with locating vehicles, understanding parking procedures, and navigating the property.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional parking environment.
• Support traffic management during emergencies or special events.
• Complete required documentation, incident reports, and daily activity logs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the library.
