Job summary

Bentonville Public Library is seeking an Outreach Coordinator to identify and promote services to diverse community groups, coordinate volunteers, and develop adult programs in alignment with the library’s mission. The role involves collaboration with the Adult Volunteer Coordinator, delivering on ILL services, and expanding community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree or equivalent from four-year college; or five or more years related experience and/or training; or three or more years library experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ordering, receiving and cataloging of adult materials.
• Weed and inter-library loan processing.
• Tend to desk duties: issue/update library cards, handle money, check out materials, provide reference/information and readers’ advisory, plus technology help.
• Develop and present programs and services for adults and families.
• Develop awareness of trends in adult/youth services and assist training new staff.
