Job summary

The MASY Group in Bethesda, MD seeks a Library Sciences professional to support intelligence research and archival operations for federal agencies. You will perform comprehensive searches, curate bibliographies, and ensure meticulous preservation of library materials.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Library Sciences with 5+ years of relevant experience and active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred to enhance analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Sciences
• At least 5 years of experience in the library sciences field
• Ability to monitor specialized areas, review documents, and assign metadata or tags
• Ability to execute senior-level guidance and translate strategic goals
• Ability to conduct research and provide results in multiple formats
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive reference, literature, and specialized database searches using academic journals, classified databases, and open-source materials.
• Partner with Government librarians to identify research gaps, design structured search strategies, and compile bibliographies on specified national-security and intelligence topics.
• Catalog, organize, preserve, and archive library materials to maintain physical and digital library collections.
• Analyze, package, and disseminate research findings to faculty and students, including providing actionable recommendations for further academic exploration.
