Job summary

Cooperative Computer Services (CCS) is seeking an experienced metadata librarian to join our team as Manager of Metadata Services. You will develop CCS's metadata and technical services offerings for over 30 member libraries and provide ongoing support related to cataloging, serials, and acquisitions.

Reporting to the Executive Director, this full-time role is based in Lincolnshire, IL, with a hybrid schedule (2 days in office per month) and a 37.5-hour work week.

Qualifications

• . Master’s degree in library science from an ALA-accredited program or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Lead department management and develop scalable programs and services for CCS membership.
• Manage technical services programs (cataloging, serials, acquisitions).
• Develop and manage the ILS administration budget for subscriptions, software, project assistance, and consultants.
