Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in library science (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas Teaching certification.
• Valid Texas librarian certification (preferred).
• Two years of successful teaching experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff to develop information literacy and research skills.
• Lead reading advocacy and promote a culture of literacy.
• Oversee information access, technology use, and curricular resources.
• Manage library operations, budgeting, and collection development.
