Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with Texas Library certification; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years as a highly qualified teacher; bilingual a plus.
• Working knowledge of library and information science.
• Ability to instruct and manage students; strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the school library/media center to support instruction.
• Provide guidance in locating, evaluating, and using information.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into curricula.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, facilities, and inventory.
• Promote information literacy and responsible use of digital resources.
• Supervise Media Assistant(s) and student aides.
