Job summary

Spring ISD is seeking a Library Media Specialist for a middle school to support information literacy and library resources. The role collaborates with teachers to deliver specialized instruction and oversees library operations and Maker Space activities in a dynamic campus environment.

The position requires a Texas teaching certificate, a relevant degree, and prior teaching experience. This is a full-time on-site role at BAMMEL MS in Houston, with immediate starting date and an exempt pay grade

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of successful teaching experience.
• Experience teaching, modeling, and coaching educational technology.
• Valid Texas teaching certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff to develop information literacy instruction.
• Lead and model instruction in technology integration.
• Coordinate library media center operations and resources.
• Promote reading culture and Maker Space.
• Schedule the library media facilities and supervise students.
