Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited university.
• Three years of professional library experience or equivalent combination.
• Knowledge of library services, branding, advertising, and marketing techniques.
• Understanding of ADA regulations related to marketing and social media.
• Supervision, training, and performance evaluation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive social media and digital communications plan.
• Create digital content, including live and produced videos, for internal and external channels.
• Promote library programs and services through marketing materials and campaigns.
• Design graphics for the website, social channels, and newsletters using graphics software.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
• Coordinate programming and community outreach with the Core Program Team.
• Prepare reports and dashboard analytics using surveys and data tools.
• Develop KPIs, digital road maps, and measurement of campaigns using analytics.
• Help plan budgets and coordinate resources for the assigned program area.
• Prepare oral and written reports for executives, council, and boards.
