Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library Science from an accredited university (ALA-accredited)
• Four years of progressively responsible upper-management experience in a related field, including program creation and implementation

Responsibilities

• Oversee library services and staff; ensure high-quality public service.
• Develop programs for residents of all ages and manage collection development.
• Prepare and monitor the annual budget; support grants and funding efforts.
• Coordinate Library Advisory Board meetings and build community partnerships.
• Lead implementation of the Library’s 5-Year Strategic Plan; oversee outreach activities such as bookmobile at City events.
