Job summary

City of McAllen's Library seeks a Library Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day facility services, including minor repairs to building systems and preventive maintenance. You will manage multiple tasks while events take place and maintain public spaces with professionalism.

Under general supervision, you will work a varied schedule and respond to maintenance needs as they arise, ensuring safe, clean, and functional library facilities for patrons and staff.

Under general supervision, the Library Maintenance Technician provides day-to-day facility service and maintenance functions to include minor repairs of building systems. Employee works a varied schedule to provide preventive maintenance (PM) without interference to events held in the facility. Employee must be able to work under stress and be able to handle various tasks despite numerous interruptions.
