Job summary

City of Cambridge is seeking an IT Senior Technician to support library tech, including Windows, macOS, and Chrome OS devices across multiple branches. The role involves troubleshooting, deployments, and end-user training.

You will liaise with the City IT department, maintain equipment inventory, and provide high-level customer service while supporting library staff and public computer users.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of technical support experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Chrome OS environments; familiarity with printers, scanners, and AV equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support public and staff computers; assist in deployments and upgrades.
• Provide level 1–2 IT support and triage to resolve issues or escalate to vendors when needed.
• Maintain IT inventory and documentation; assist with staff training and orientation.
