Job summary

The Urbana Free Library is seeking a forward-thinking IT Manager to lead the operation and management of all information technology systems, applications, and services. You will architect and maintain the Library's technology infrastructure, and supervise the IT staff under the Associate Director.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Information Systems or related field (or equivalent) and 3+ years of enterprise Windows experience; five years preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three years progressively responsible Windows enterprise admin experience; five years preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows desktop/server administration, Hyper-V, and networking.
• Experience with MS Office 365 admin tools, Azure AD, and hybrid environments.
• Experience with budgets and procurement procedures.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

• Oversee operation and management of IT systems, applications, and services within the Library.
• Provide vision and leadership for IT strategy development and implementation.
• Supervise the Library's IT staff and maintain technology infrastructure.
