Job summary

Medford Public Schools in Medford, MA is seeking a School Librarian who will deliver library curriculum, services, and support to the school community, collaborating with a district-wide team of library and digital learning staff.

The Librarian will develop and deliver curriculum, work with students and staff in each building, and maintain professional practice through assessment, record-keeping, and participation in district testing programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a Library Teacher.
• Knowledge of instructional strategies, information literacy, and children's literature.

Responsibilities

• Deliver library curriculum and services to the school community.
• Collaborate with district library and digital learning staff.
• Develop and deliver curriculum, and work with students and staff in each school building.
• Maintain accurate records, grading, and attendance as required by the MTA contract.
• Administer standardized tests in accordance with district testing programs.
