Job summary

Medford School District 549C is seeking a dedicated Media Center Technician at Hedrick Middle School to support the library and computer lab. You will assist with media activities, supervise students, and help manage resources and technology.

Daily duties include helping with equipment, software, and network maintenance, and collaborating with the Media Specialist to provide a productive learning environment for staff and students.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent; high school diploma plus 1–2 years clerical experience.
• Ability to interact with teachers, staff and students; maintains confidentiality.
• Advanced computer skills and ability to train staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Media Specialist and students with library and computer lab activities.
• Inventory, repair and manage supplies and equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot basic computer/network issues and assist with software/hardware maintenance.
• Supervise students in the media center and computer lab; prepare displays and events.
