The Hollidaysburg Area Public Library in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, seeks a dynamic Library Director to lead programs, staff, and community partnerships. The director reports to the Library Board and advances short- and long-term goals for service and growth.

Responsibilities include budgeting, outreach, fundraising, grant writing, and ensuring excellent service for residents of the Hollidaysburg Area School District and surrounding communities.

Formación

• MLIS from an ALA-accredited program.
• Public Library Certification from PA Department of Education.
• Background checks (FBI, PA) and PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
• Preferred two years of progressive library experience.
• Leadership in a community or non-profit organization.
• Fundraising, development, and grant writing experience.
• Strong oral and written communication; collaboration

Responsabilidades

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the library.
• Lead, develop, administer, and coordinate the work of the library staff.
• Oversee personnel, scheduling, budget, payroll and benefits, and collection development.
• Develop programs for children, teens, and adults; coordinate events.
• Prepare required County and State reports; pursue grants.
• Engage with community partners and the Library Board; fundraising support.
