Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a University of Utah student enrolled in at least 6 undergraduate credits or 5 graduate credits during fall and spring.
• Ability to operate PC and Mac computers and digitization equipment.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Working knowledge of flatbed/slide scanners, cameras, and other digitization hardware.

Responsibilities

• Scan material using digital scanners, recorders, and cameras.
• Post-process images to meet online and archival needs.
• Document technical and descriptive information for online assets onto spreadsheets.
• Import items into an online digital asset management system and perform quality control.
• Maintain production area in a neat and orderly condition.
• Exhibit clear, concise oral and written communication; attention to detail.
