Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of increasingly responsible staff management experience.
• 2+ years of library operations experience; familiarity with library software systems.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to prioritize, manage time, problem solve, and complete projects.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.
• Experience with spreadsheet software (Excel or Airtable).
• Ability to move or lift up to 50 lbs. regularly during the workday.
• Ability to lift materials overhead; comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet and in 50–60 F temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a small full-time staff team.
• Oversee routine shelving operations and withdrawal workflows.
• Coordinate collections care efforts across library spaces and the LCSF.
• Assist with environmental monitoring programs and processing newly acquired materials.
• Provide training and supervision to student employees.
• Contribute to planning for collection locations and space allocation.
