Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, with six or more months of public interaction/customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with enjoyment of working with the public.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle high-volume patron interactions.
• Willingness to assist patrons with basic technology needs, including public computer navigation, email, printing.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to library patrons of all ages.
• Process check-ins/check-outs and register patrons for library cards.
• Assist patrons with accounts and using computers and digital resources.
• Promote library programs and services.
• Keep daily statistics and maintain knowledge of materials and services.
