Job description

The Free Library of Monroe Township in Williamstown, Gloucester County, NJ is seeking a positive service-oriented individual to join our team.

Duties include assisting patrons at the reference desk and with computers and mobile devices. Other patron services’ support, as needed.

Requirements

Work experience demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills. Proficiency with computers and mobile devices and willingness to learn new software. Prior public library experience, preferred. An MLIS is not required.

The ideal candidate for the position would be someone with a pleasant and/or outgoing personality as this position requires working with the public. The perfect candidate would excel at customer service and multitasking.
