Miles Community College is seeking a dynamic, customer-focused, and self-motivated Library Associate to support the daily operations of the College Library. This full-time, 10-month position provides direct access to library resources, services, technology, and instructional support for students, employees, and community patrons.The Library Associate is responsible for circulation, cataloging, interlibrary loan, patron account management, fee processing, stacks maintenance, library programming, displays, and assisting patrons with library hardware and software. This position also supports library instruction, creates promotional and instructional materials, coordinates library-based cultural events, and supervises student workers.The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills, strong organizational abilities, sound judgment and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while working independently in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The position requires accuracy, confidentiality, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing an inclusive and welcoming learning environment for all library users.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. This is a full-time, 10-month classified staff position.
