Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years of clerical or library employment experience.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Greets patrons and provides courteous service at the circulation desk.
• Checks materials in and out and explains policies to patrons.
• Assists with locating materials via catalog and databases and provides referrals when needed.
• Supports programs, displays, and outreach activities for all ages.
• Maintains accurate circulation records and shelve materials in order.
