The City of Tigard’s Public Library is seeking a part-time Library Assistant to support the Circulation division. This role involves providing friendly patron assistance, handling check-in/check-out, issuing library cards, and guiding patrons with self-check machines.

The position supports a busy, customer-focused library environment in Tigard, Oregon. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and at least one year of library services experience.

The Tigard's Public Library is currently recruiting for a part-time Library Assistant (24 hours per week) position in the Circulation division. Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Qualifications

Any combination of training and experience, which would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:

• Equivalent to a high school diploma AND
• One (1) year of experience in library services.
