Gfoat seeks a Children's Librarian to provide quality library services and programming to meet educational and cultural needs in Portland. You will plan and execute programming such as After School Programs and Summer Reading, while working collaboratively with library staff and community stakeholders.

The Children’s Librarian provides cost-effective, quality service, programs, and materials in a variety of formats in order to meet the educational, recreational, and cultural needs of all the citizens of Portland and the surrounding communities. Specifically, the Children’s Librarian is responsible for the development of children’s, adult makerspace, and outreach programming.
This position is subject to the City of Portland’s Background Investigation and Drug Testing Policy. New hires are required to provide proof of identity and legal authority to work in the United States per Federal law.
