Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and current GHC undergraduate student with SAP requirements (implicit).
• Current-Year FAFSA on file with verifications complete.

Responsibilities

• Understand, support, and carry out the college's mission, vision, and values.
• Provide customer service to library and archives users in person and by phone.
• Utilize library management system (LMS) to process borrowing and returning materials.
• Provide basic reference duties, such as answering questions on basic searching, technology, information, directions.
• Maintain professional appearance of the library.
• Maintain physical library and archival materials (shelving, shifting, shelf reading, inventory).
• Keep patron records confidential for library and archives.
• Perform general administrative tasks including scanning and operating computer equipment.
• Maintain and collect data on library and archives use as directed.
• Assist with archival processing (describing, preserving, scanning).
• Display and post marketing materials; assist with reference requests and displays.
• Staff the circulation desk as needed and perform other duties.
