Job summary

Georgia Highlands College is seeking a Student Assistant to support the athletic facility and fields in a temporary, part-time role at the Cartersville Instruction Site. The position involves daily facility maintenance and assisting with events and rentals.

The ideal candidate is currently enrolled as a GHC student in good standing and has a high school diploma or equivalent. Availability to work hours when facilities are in use is required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a GHC student in good academic standing.
• Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be available to work hours as needed when facilities are in use.

Responsibilities

• Participates in daily maintenance and preparation of the athletic facility/fields.
• Oversees the use of baseball and softball facility during external rentals.
• Ensures proper care of the playing surface, restroom, concession, and batting facility.
• Communicates with campus security and athletic department as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
