Job summary

Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry (ADCRR) in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Librarian II to lead a Resource Center that connects staff and incarcerated individuals with information, learning materials, and reentry support. You will coordinate access to legal resources, assist with e-filing, notary services, and oversee inmate workers.

You will catalog and organize materials, ensure Publication Review standards compliance, promote the Resource Center, and prepare reports.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures related to the assignment.
• Library principles and practices.
• Modern library tools and practices.
• Current cataloging standards, including original and copy cataloging.
• Computers and software, including word processing, spreadsheets, library automation, and OPACs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees legal and paralegal access; assists with e-filing access and distribution; provides notary services as necessary.
• Catalogs, indexes, and organizes Resource Center materials; reviews materials for Publication Review compliance.
• Provides access to materials useful for reentry.
• Responds to inquiries for research materials.
• Trains and oversees inmate workers; assists staff and inmates with library resource use; tracks library use.
• Promotes the Resource Center and supports ADCRR goals; attends meetings and training; prepares reports and memos.
