• Evaluates, selects, and requisitions new library materials and equipment in light of staff and student needs and current trends for school media centers.
• Schedules and manages Library/Media Center Operations.
• Informs teachers and staff concerning new materials the library acquires.
• Maintains cataloging system for library materials and teaches use to staff and students.
• Arranges inter-library loan of materials for teachers.
• Works with teachers to plan assignments utilizing library resources.
• Promotes appropriate student conduct in library facilities.
• Helps students develop reference skills and use reference materials for assignments.
• Presents and discusses materials with classes studying topics; participates in faculty meetings.
