Infolink The Eastern New Jersey Regional Library Cooperative Inc in New Jersey is seeking an entry-level Librarian 1 to support reference and legal research services across state government branches and public libraries. You will assist students, staff, and the public and gain experience with digital collections and online resources.

This entry level, union represented position provides lots of opportunity to grow and develop your reference and research skills by working with all three branches of state government; students, staff and mentors of Thomas Edison State University; New Jersey public libraries; and the general public. On a regular basis you will provide research assistance across many subject areas including business, New Jersey history, law, and more. You will have assignments in projects related to our growing digital collections. You should be tech savvy and thrive with the use of digital tools.
Here are examples of the type of work you might do:
Education: A Master’s degree in Library or Information Sciences in a library program accredited by the American Library Association or from a New Jersey college Master’s program in Library Science that has been deemed acceptable by Thomas Edison State University.
License: Possession of or eligibility for a valid New Jersey certification as a Professional Librarian.
