Infolink The Eastern New Jersey Regional Library Cooperative Inc is seeking an entry level cataloging librarian to support NJ State Library collections. You will grow skills in metadata, indexing, and discovery for researchers across state government, universities, public libraries, and the public.

This entry level, union represented position provides lots of opportunity to grow and develop your cataloging, metadata and indexing skills to support collection discovery for researchers using the New Jersey State Library collections. Researchers include all three branches of state government; students, staff and mentors of Thomas Edison State University; New Jersey public libraries; and the general public. You will be assigned special collections for which you will be the primary cataloger. You will develop your metadata skills to support growing digital collections. You’ll be assigned special projects related to various collections, requiring established procedures and coordination with section heads. You may be assigned subject specific collections in which you identify and order print and eBook titles. You should be tech savvy and thrive with the use of digital tools.
