The GEO Group, Inc. seeks a library services professional to manage the facility library, including ordering, cataloging, circulation, and maintenance of all materials.
You will supervise inmate library aides, select library books and materials for purchase, conduct inventories, and assist in budget preparation. A Bachelor's degree in library sciences or related field, or provisional Librarian Certification, is required.

Performs overall daily maintenance of the library to include, ordering, cataloging, classifying, circulation, and maintaining all library periodicals, books, and materials. Provides information and assistance on use of the card catalog. Maintains acquisition of selected books.
The facility provides a full range of correctional services including dental, medical and psychological services, education,and vocational training. Work and educational programs are designed to reduce recidivism and include academic and vocational education, vocational planning, substance abuse education, general counseling, life skills and transition planning.
