Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking an Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility Psychiatry team in Montana. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive psychiatric care to geriatric residents across SNFs, with a compensation model featuring base pay and incentives, plus generous PTO and CEU support.

Qualified candidates are licensed in Montana, with DEA registration, and have geriatric psychiatry experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Montana by the Board of Nursing in good standing.
• Licensed to prescribe controlled substances (DEA) in Montana.
• Minimum 1 year geriatric psychiatry experience.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities or LTAC settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Behavioral Health Solutions is looking for qualified Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Psychiatry team in Montana. Responsibilities:

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Requirements

• Licensed in Montana by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Montana Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
• 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.
