Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking an Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP or PA-C) to join our SNF psychiatry team in Montana. This full-time, W2 role focuses on geriatric behavioral health in Skilled Nursing Facilities.

The position offers a compensation package with base salary plus incentives, generous PTO, CEU allowances, and AI note-taking tools to streamline documentation and reduce after-hours charting.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Montana by the Board of Nursing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed to prescribe controlled substances (DEA) in Montana.
• 1 year of geriatric psychiatry experience.
• 1 year of treatment in Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess patients' mental status and symptoms.
• Diagnose according to DSM-V and develop treatment plans.
• Apply psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatment options.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Behavioral Health Solutions is looking for qualified Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Psychiatry team in Montana. Our team of mental health treatment professionals specialize in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to the underserved geriatric population residing in Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision‑making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non‑pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Requirements

• Licensed in Montana by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Montana Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
• 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.
