Lawrence Hall is a Chicago-based nonprofit organization providing therapeutic and wellness services to LGBTQIA+ youth and families. The LGBTQ Therapist at Lakewood delivers individual, group, and family therapy to youths in the Lakewood Group Home, applying trauma-informed and identity-affirming approaches to support healing and healthy development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related human services field.
• LSW or LPC license or ability to obtain licensure within three months of hire.
• Personal vehicle and Illinois driver's license with proof of insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• No history of child abuse or neglect.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to a caseload of six or more LGBTQIA+ youth.
• Utilize trauma-informed and identity-affirming practices to support youth in exploring identities, relationships, and treatment goals.
• Collaborate with families, treatment teams, DCFS, schools, courts, and community partners; complete required clinical documentation.
