CPC Education and Career Services (ECS) in New York City seeks a Project Reach Facilitator/Mentor to create a safe, affirming environment for LGBTQ+ youth and allies at Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn. The role balances direct mentorship, inclusive group sessions, and student-led advocacy.

You will ensure privacy compliance while empowering students, guiding college searches, and linking them to local NYC resources. Strong commitment to equity and youth development is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field.
• Minimum 2 years working with high school youth.
• Strong understanding of LGBTQ+ identities and allyship.

Responsabilidades

• Lead group facilitation for LGBTQ+ youth and allies.
• Provide 1-on-1 mentorship focusing on identity validation and coming out.
• Ensure NYC DOE privacy guidelines compliance.
• Coordinate transitions to college searches and career networking.
• Connect students to NYC resources for housing and mental health.
