BMO U.S. is seeking an Analyst to join the U.S. Diversified Corporate & Leveraged Banking group in Chicago.

You will support underwriting, credit approval, and portfolio management for sponsor-backed transactions, building LBO models and performing data-driven analysis of financial performance. You will screen deals, conduct due diligence, prepare committee materials, and collaborate across Leveraged Finance, Industry Coverage, and Sponsor Coverage teams to help manage risk and identify

Formación

• Undergraduate degree in finance/economics/accounting with outstanding academics.
• Completion of financial analysis training preferable.

Responsabilidades

• Digest data rooms and pull key files for analysis.
• Lead diligence calls with sponsors and management teams.
• Collaborate across Leveraged Finance, Industry Coverage, and Sponsor Coverage for committee materials.
• Create LBO models from sponsor projections for credit memos.
• Use independent thinking to analyze and sensitize financial models and articulate credit rationale.
• Complete risk/return models for new deals.
• Address questions from Investment Committee and Credit team.
• Review borrower financials and monitor performance through quarterly statements and lender calls.
• Prepare concise quarterly credit analyses and annual reviews for borrowers.
• Assess internal risk ratings based on performance and qualitative factors.
• Evaluate opportunities for ancillary products with existing borrowers.
