Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Leveraged Finance Senior Credit Analyst in Charlotte, NC. You will perform detailed due diligence, build financial projections, and draft underwriting memos while coordinating with internal partners to assess risk-reward on senior debt transactions.

The role requires 2–3 years in Leveraged Finance or related fields, a Bachelor's degree, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

2–3 years Leveraged Finance, Private Equity, Investment Banking or related financial services experience.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Strong analytical, financial modeling and Microsoft Excel skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Understanding of private equity, capital markets, merger and acquisition structures, and credit analysis experience.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed due diligence on companies, industries, management teams, and other relevant information.
Build detailed financial projection models to analyze capital structures, performance trends and credit metrics.
Prepare succinct underwriting memorandums with company and industry descriptions, key credit risks, and terms and conditions.
Establish strong working partnerships with internal teams and communicate status and prioritization.
