Job summary

Murrelektronik North America is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform repair, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability improvements on production lines in Suwanee, GA. The role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and supporting installation and commissioning activities.

You'll work the 2:30pm–11:00pm second shift, use Siemens HMI panels and PLCs, and contribute to a safe, efficient manufacturing environment while maintaining

Qualifications

• Technical training in industrial maintenance or mechatronics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment and supporting systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures; identify root causes.
• Repair motors, drives, bearings, gearboxes, sensors, actuators, and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedules and safety requirements.
• Create and close PMs and maintenance work orders in CMMS.
• Document repairs, parts used, failure causes, and actions.
• Respond to breakdowns with urgency and restore operation safely.
• Support installation, commissioning, modifications, and reliability improvements.
• Read drawings and diagrams; interpret manuals.
• Perform routine inspections for wear and safety concerns.
• Assist with spare-parts identification and communicate needs.
• Follow lockout/tagout and all plant safety procedures.
• Provide guidance to Level I/II maintenance technicians.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper tool care.
